Seems that over the Christmas holidays whilst I have been laid up with some weird “non-specific” illness that mailchimp.com and their spam email servers decided to increase the spam load in my inbox, because you know, I need to know about “this week in sarasota” and other vital “marketing campaigns” that have absolutely no relevance to me.
Well, you cost me attention, I will cost you money (and potential customers). Just flagged all of the mailchimp.com email servers as spam providers at the NOC. Yeah, a bit draconian, but frankly the load on the email server was getting ridiculous. “Double opt-in” my arse. Unsolicited garbage more like it. A quick domain check and the regex “.*@mcsv.*\.net” seems to fit the bill quite nicely to match against the mailchimp email servers.
